Refund & Cancellation Policy

Ambalapuzha Yogam Pettasangham Trust deeply appreciates the generosity of devotees and supporters who contribute to our religious, cultural, and charitable activities. This Refund & Cancellation Policy clarifies the terms governing financial contributions made through our website.

1. General Policy on Donations

Because monetary contributions made to the Trust are voluntary religious and charitable offerings, donations are generally non-refundable once a transaction has been successfully completed and credited.

2. Exceptional Circumstances for Refund Review

We recognize that technical errors or accidental transactions can occasionally occur. The Trust will review refund requests under the following exceptional circumstances:

• Duplicate Transactions: Where a technical glitch causes a donor's payment card or account to be charged multiple times for a single intended donation.
• Unauthorized / Erroneous Payment: Where a transaction occurred due to demonstrable technical gateway malfunction or unauthorized usage.

3. How to Submit a Refund Request

If you believe an exceptional transaction error has occurred, you must notify the Trust within 7 calendar days of the transaction date. Requests should be submitted in writing with full supporting details:

• Full Name of the Donor
• Transaction Reference ID / Payment ID
• Date and Time of Transaction
• Transaction Amount
• Clear Explanation of the technical error or duplicate charge

4. Processing Approved Refunds

Upon receiving a refund request, the Trust will verify the transaction details with our banking and payment gateway partners. If approved, refunds will be credited back exclusively to the original payment instrument (bank account, card, or UPI ID) used during the initial transaction.

Refund processing times typically range from 5 to 10 business days depending on banking settlement procedures. Any convenience fees or gateway charges levied by third-party processors may be deducted from the refunded amount where applicable.

5. Cancellation Policy

Once an online donation or ritual sponsorship transaction has been authorized and completed, it cannot be unilaterally cancelled by the donor through the website. For cancellation requests relating to advance meal or ritual scheduling, donors must contact the Trust management directly.
